This is a series of articles I write to help you build your life around meaningful work you enjoy doing.
And it's both for people who'd describe themselves as "completely lost," and those who'd say they're "doing pretty well."
That's because we'll be learning to examine our lives with a mindset and tools of a designer – someone who is good at finding and solving problems.
We'll use life design methods to:
- Figure out what you want
- Find specific ways to improve your life and work
- And maybe even help you get your next dream job
This series is based on the book Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, who are professors teaching these methods as a course on Stanford.
I build on ideas and exercises from the book, adding my own thoughts, experiences, and best practices along the way.
You don't need the book to get value from this series. But the book is very good so I recommend buying it if you like what you see here.
